Art

Allow your child to write, draw, and paint anything she is inspired to create. When focusing on a specific topic, give your child ideas. Say, "We have been learning about butterflies, can you paint a picture of a butterfly? Maybe you can draw it in his home? Or with some friends?" Always have white copy paper and art supplies readily available. If you want your child to be an engaged artist, do not force them to create. LET IT COME NATURAL! Maybe your child doesn't draw or paint for a week, that's okay. It is important to allow your child to gain individual interest in subjects on his own. It is natural for a child to want to learn. As your child's teacher, provide her with every opportunity to learn without walls.

A Homeschool Mommy Should...

1. Prepare

2. Encourage

3, Model

4. Allow free thinking

5. Engage in discussion
